Creative Scrapbooker Magazine Feature - Mixed Media Journal Page

Good Morning and Yes I'm going to say it! Happy Monday! lol

Today I have a special treat. I was asked by Creative Scrapbooker Magazine to do a three part series on Bible Journaling for their blog. Today is the third video in the series. If you missed them, the first video is here and and the second video can be found here. In today's video I am doing a page in the new "Praise and Pray" Journal along with some Ranger Distress Inks, Color Wash Spray and the new Scribble Stickers from Lot95designs on Etsy. This was such a fun page to do. I love trying something and having no idea what it's going to look like in the end. Not too stressful when your also filming a video, lol. So I hope you enjoy!

Distress Ink Bookmarks

 Happy Thursday!! Today was "make your own bookmark" day in the studio. I had taken the Tim Holtz Creative Chemistry 101 and 102 last year where you learn tons of techniques and information about inks. I watched all the videos, printed out the PDF's.. but never tried the techniques until today. Twelve tags.. twelve techniques! Let's just say I was covered in ink by the end of the day. But I had so much fun creating, and that's what it's all about. Now.. to figure out how to coat them, lol... A side note: Putting any coating on these, smeared the colors so on the advice of one of my Bible Journal friends, she suggested self laminating sheets! Worked brilliantly!
