Technique Thursday #9 Devotional Art Cards

 Good Morning Friends and Welcome to Technique Thursday! Today I am working on some cards from my Women's Devotional Bible in the book of Judges. In today's video I do a tutorial on both sides of the card, so it's a little longer! On the first side, I am using the NEW sticker sheets that are now available in my Etsy Shop, and on the back side we play with stamps and borders! Lots of fun! Technique Thursday #7 - More Whimsy art cards

 Good Morning! Welcome back to Technique Thursday! If your new to my blog.. Welcome!
Every Thursday on Youtube I share a little technique video on something I'm working on in my studio. When I'm filming I feel like I'm talking to friends. Technique Thursday - Whimsy Art Cards

It's Technique Thursday!! Are you ready? Today I'm sharing how I made the Whimsy Heart Cards that I'm using for my Daily Devotional. These little cards are so fun! I love going back and reading the questions and answers. It's a very emotional experience. If you joined me yesterday , I shared my Deuteronomy Devotional cards. I also did a little post about the cards now being available in my Etsy Shop. I get lots of requests if the cards are available to buy, so as I design them, I will make them available as a download in the shop. I will also be doing tutorials on how to make some of them too. My mantra is, I love to share what I do, and make it available for everyone to enjoy and use too. So... let's get on to the Technique Thursday video!

Whimsy Art Cards - Deuteronomy and Exciting News!

 

 Good Morning Everyone! How's your day? I am a busy little beaver here, lol.. Today I'm sharing some of my new Devotional Art Cards from Deuteronomy. I'm really learning alot about myself and my relationship with HIM as I go through this devotional.

 And now for my news! Some of you may know that I have set up a little Etsy Shop. Well.. I have added new items! Not just any items... I'm making my mixed media cards available as digital downloads! I get a lot of requests to ask if the cards are available to buy, so I am now sharing them! (I even printed them off for myself to use) I print them out on Matte Brochure Paper with a "best photo" setting.

How can you use them? To make a greeting card, scripture card, prayer card, bible tip in's or for Project Life! As I make more cards for my Devotional I will be adding them to the shop. I'm excited to share them with everyone! A big thank you to all of you that have made purchases, it's so heart warming to know you like what I've designed. It's a huge deal for me, so thank you!

Mixed Media Bible Art Card Tutorial

 Good Morning! Today I am sharing my very first tutorial video!! YIKES! Honestly I have been terrified to even try it, but I got up the nerve and gave it a go. I wanted to set it all to music, but I got brave and actually talked! I have been asked by quite a few people to do a tutorial on how I do my Devotional Art Cards, so this one is for them! I love you guys!  I would really appreciate some honest feedback if you can. What did you like? Didn't like?  Did you like the talking? Or should it just be music? What would you like to see tutorials on? I'm on a roll now..lol.. I really do appreciate the time it takes to give your feedback, so thank you!!! Now.. on to video number 2!!

Devotional Art Cards - Leviticus and Numbers

Good Morning! I am learning so much and discovering and uncovering some things about myself through this devotional. I love taking the time out each day to read and reflect. Today was a confusing day, lol.. I had Instagram and my blog posting two different things, so to set things straight again, I'm sharing some devotional cards from Leviticus( which were posted to Instagram already) and some new cards from the book of Numbers. Whew... I think I'm all straightened out now, lol... can you say "too much social media to keep straight?"..

Thankfully I have a few of the 6x6 paper pads from BoBunny to cut out little hearts, flowers, circles and big embellies! I'm starting to have quite the collection on my desk.

Tons of fun stamping with all the stamps from my stash.

These are the new BoBunny stamps called Double Blooms. They were just the right size for my cards.

Love playing with the small details! I am lost without my white and black pens!!!

I am going to try doing my first video tutorial...yikes!! This will be a learning experience for sure!! I will let you all know when it's up and ready!
