More Smashing!

Tonight I am home alone :(... aww poor me right? Nope..time to scrap!! I was digging around my studio and found these sheets of stickers. I'm trying to use up my stash, so into the Smash Journal they went. Smashing is just too much fun. Anything goes...and I mean anything, lol. Hope your all having a wonderful day!

Practical Scrappers - Smash Journal Feature

Today at Practical Scrappers I have the opportunity to feature my "Smash Journal", so I thought I would share the post with all of you too!

Happy Friday Everyone! It's Practical Scrapper Lynn here this morning and I wanted to share one of my latest projects with you. I was out one day and decided to buy a "Smash Journal". Not sure what to do with it, I brought it home. Let me tell you....this is one fun project! The possibilities are endless. It's a great way to use up all those little scraps of paper, those stamps that have been hiding in the box, the little mementos that have been tucked away. I now have a basket on my desk full of little bits and pieces to use for my journal. Here is an example of a few pages that I've done.

 Here is the Journal when I bought it

 This is what I did with the cover. Too much fun! I used embellishments that have been hidden away for years.

I had some left over Graphic 45 from a layout, so I did the cover page with it.

 This is a page about my daughter. She wrote the little green sticky note and left it on my desk one day. That is how this page started.

 A page about my son. Don't forget to bring out the masks and stencils. 

 I love pigs so I thought I would print out a contact sheet of some of my favorite photos and do a page.

 These next two are a memory page for my little Tessa. A great way to use up those pieces from a 6x6 paper pack!

The possibilities are endless. I love doing this because I feel it just lets your creativity run wild. Anything goes! So if you are "Smashing", have fun, and if your thinking about getting one..take the step..you will be amazed at what you can do with it! Smash Journal

Hey Everyone! I was out shopping the other day and I bought a Smash Journal. Had no idea what to do with it, but I bought it anyways. Yeah, I always do that and it sits around and never gets used. Well...this one was different. I brought it home, opened it up and it reminded me of the scrapbooks I made back in junior high school. Total artist freedom. Every page can be different...unique...no colors have to match...stickers can go anywhere. No limits!!! Now I have a basket by my desk filled with stamps I've never used, embellishments that have been long forgotten, scraps of paper that look new again. It's time to create my friends. I just wanted to share the first few pages because I'm just so excited about this...I'm hooked!
