Today at Bo Bunny we are featuring "hand stitching" projects. I have never hand stitched on a layout before, I always use my sewing machine, so this was a learning experience for me. Once I got started I couldn't stop. I started with the banner, then stitched the photo frame. Hmm..maybe just a little more? Carried on with some stitching on the banners, then added some leaves to the flowers. I was out of control but having so much fun. Here are some close ups of my first stitching attempt!
Trying a few different stitches
I traced a stencil onto the paper, then used a push pin to make tiny holes. Way easier than trying to pierce the paper with a needle.
Had some fun with some "x's" and a adding leaves to the flowers.
So much fun! I think I will be trying to perfect my stitches on a few more layouts!
Thanks so much for stopping by. I love reading your comments and I appreciate your scrappy support! Have a wonderfully happy scrappy day! Lynn
