It's Sketch Day at Boys Rule

Today there is a new sketch up at Boys Rule that I designed along with a special treat! My sister Charlotte Brochu is Guest Designer this month and she used the sketch. I am taking a little break, so she used the sketch in my place this month! Here is a link to her blog : Scrapsational

Mommys Lil Monster - Boys Rule

Morning!! How is everyone's Friday? Here in Canada we have a long weekend, so it's off to the lake for us! Today at Boys Rule I'm sharing the August sketch I designed and my take on sketch. This was a fun layout to do. If you know me, I usually don't scrap in bright colors but I really liked how this one turned out. The photo is of Ryan when he was about 9 months old. It's fun to get out those old photos and scrap them. I just smiled the whole time playing with that photo and the Our Lil' Monster collection from BoBunny. Hope you can stop by and play along with us this month!

Smile - Boys Rule Sketch

Morning Scrappy Friends!! Today I'm up on the Boys Rule blog with a new layout and a sketch I designed. I love working with the girls there. They challenge me to step out of my comfort zone and now I can design a sketch and make a cut file! Yipeeee, lol. So, back to the layout, lol. I couldn't help but scrap this selfie of Ryan and Jax. Those two are just the best of buddies. The May/ June kit has so many fun chipboard shapes, stickers, wooden embellies... it's crazy how much stuff is in that kit! I always have leftovers. I hope you can stop by and play along with us. You don't need to have the kit to play along! But... you just may win one!!!

Enjoy This Moment

Happy Monday!!! This weekend I had a few minutes to just have some fun and play in my studio. I was looking through my stash looking for inspiration, when I saw an email from Kaisercraft. When I saw the sketch I knew I just had to play along. I had this photo of Nicole on my desk just waiting to be scrapped! I've had the Hidden Treasures collection for awhile, and you know when you love something so much you just can't cut into it?? Well I decided it was time, lol. Also this weekend I was downstairs looking at those albums from long ago (the year 2000) and saw those double page spreads with tons of photos in them, but what stood out for me was the journaling. I always told the story, and somehow I lost that along the way. So... my New Years resolution is to have journaling on every layout. ( If you see one and there is no journaling, give me some grief) . Now back to the project.... here is my take on their Saturday January 25th sketch!
