Good Morning and a Very Merry Christmas to All! I thought I would share this bible journal page with you before Christmas. I wanted to finish this one before Christmas Eve. There is nothing sweeter than the moment when Mary finds out she will give birth to a baby boy and HE will be the Messiah. Such a powerful message from above. So to everyone... A Very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to you all!!!

The Three Kings - Bible Journal Page

Matthew 2 Bible Journal Page by Lynn Shokoples
Are you ready?? It's almost the big day! Christmas is around the corner! I want to thank everyone who visits my blog and who was so supportive this year, I really appreciate each and every one of you. I just had to share one last page in my Bible before Christmas. This started off as a drawing, then ended up being a Cameo Cut file and some Inktense pencils. You just never know when you start off what the end result will be...and isn't that what we love? The wonderful surprise. Have a Very Merry Christmas...and a Happy Scrappy New Year!!!

Calendar Girl Planner Pages - BoBunny

January Planner Pages by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny featuring the Calendar Girl and Whiteout Collections.
Good Morning! I hope everyone has a Blessed Christmas! And wow.. New Years is right around the corner! Today I'm sharing some pages on the BoBunny Facebook Page from my year long bible study by month over at Her Binder Project. I mixed up the Calendar Girl Journal Contents and the Whiteout Collection. The brown pages from the contents pack worked really well with the blues and browns from Whiteout. When I started stamping the snowflakes, well let's just say I couldn't stop! The are everywhere! I'm having a ton of fun decorating this planner! The Misc. Me binder is just the right size to hold the pages, not to big, not to small!

I started off this project by starting in October, flipped to July, then went back to January 2015 and started that one.. this totally takes the pressure off.. working through 2015 when 2016 is coming up! I'm not pressured to do it daily, or weekly, I work on it when I can.  So I hope you all have an amazing New Year, and I will see you soon!

Winter Tea Wreath - BoBunny

Dear Santa Tea Wreath by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny
Good Morning! How's everyone's day? I just wanted to share a tea wreath I made for our house. I attached filled tea bags to a pocket square card from the Dear Santa Collection at BoBunny. I just used little clothespins to attach them to my wreath. Most of my friends love tea, so now they can grab a card, have some tea and have a card for their own wreath or tree at home. As the cards are taken, I have more made up to put on the wreath. I'm looking forward to my friends visiting!

Advent Bible Journaling

Luke Bible Journal Page by Lynn Shokoples

Luke Bible Journal Page by Lynn Shokoples
Good Morning! Last week I spent some time out at the cabin doing some Bible Journaling and my Advent Bible Study. I have been waiting to get to this point in the bible during the holiday season, so I could do something about the birth of our Lord. These are both done in watercolors and then highlighted with Prismacolor Pencil crayons. Both images were found on google, and I love all the inspiration you can find there. I hope you all have a glorious holiday season and a Very Merry Christmas!

Besties-BoBunny

Besties layout by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny featuring the Love and Lace Collection and Glitter and Foil Locale Stickers.
Good Morning! Last week at BoBunny I shared a project called "One layout Three Ways". It's three different ways to jazz up a layout. We start with a simple layout then keep adding to it.. Fun right? This is a layout I did for my daughter to celebrate a friendship she has had since she was a child. These girls truly love each other and are inseparable. They were matching fairies for Halloween, so I couldn't resist using this photo.

For the first stage of my layout, I backed the photo with one of the 6x6 paper pad sheets, tucked a piece of the Noteworthy in the back , added a quick title, a few of the Glitter and Foil Locale stickers and the start of a cluster on the top left of the page.

For stage two of my layout I added a little tag and flowers tucked behind the photo, changed the title so that is was on one of the Noteworthy pieces and dressed up the element cluster at the top with some stickers from the Combo Sticker Sheet and one of the stickers from the Glitter and Foil Locale sheet.

For the last stage, I just had to add some glitter! With the help of the Brocade Stickable Stencil and some Wasabi Glitter Paste, my layout sparkled in no time! I also added a few extra Noteworthy pieces with the date stamped on it , and a few of the flowers were added to the flower cluster already printed on the pattern paper. Thanks so much for joining me today... until next time.
