Winter Tea Wreath - BoBunny

Dear Santa Tea Wreath by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny
Good Morning! How's everyone's day? I just wanted to share a tea wreath I made for our house. I attached filled tea bags to a pocket square card from the Dear Santa Collection at BoBunny. I just used little clothespins to attach them to my wreath. Most of my friends love tea, so now they can grab a card, have some tea and have a card for their own wreath or tree at home. As the cards are taken, I have more made up to put on the wreath. I'm looking forward to my friends visiting!

Advent Bible Journaling

Luke Bible Journal Page by Lynn Shokoples

Luke Bible Journal Page by Lynn Shokoples
Good Morning! Last week I spent some time out at the cabin doing some Bible Journaling and my Advent Bible Study. I have been waiting to get to this point in the bible during the holiday season, so I could do something about the birth of our Lord. These are both done in watercolors and then highlighted with Prismacolor Pencil crayons. Both images were found on google, and I love all the inspiration you can find there. I hope you all have a glorious holiday season and a Very Merry Christmas!

I was peeking through my new BoBunny collections, and it was just a peek, when I spotted the Noteworthy package from Dear Santa..  When I saw Santa and Mr. Snowman, well... I thought "now wouldn't those make cute tags?".. and so it began. Out came the Glitter Paste and the patterned paper. This was just too much fun! And now I have some tags for Christmas gifts!! ( And it's not even December). Quick and fun!! Now maybe I should think about doing some shopping for the gifts to go with the tags, lol.. Have a scrapfabulous day my friends..until next time....

Christmas Collage Misc. Me - BoBunny

Merry and Bright Misc. Me page by Lynn Shokoples featuring the Christmas Collage Collection and Leaky Shed Chipboard
Good Morning Everyone! Today I'm sharing some of my Misc. Me pages I did for BoBunny along with a video tutorial on how I put my pages together. I decided to do a spread on Christmas past, so I picked photos from each of the past few years. It's a great way to remember all the fun times we had each Christmas Morning! Even those pups got into the holiday spirit with reindeer antlers, lol. At BoBunny we had a treat this month. We got some fabulous chipboard pieces from Leaky Shed to play with, so I chose the Christmas Collage collection to use.

It's A Onesie Kind of Christmas - BoBunny

Good Morning Everyone!! Last week at BoBunny I shared my Misc. Me pages that I did mixing and matching two of the BoBunny collections. I chose Madeleine and Candy Cane Lane because the colors of the pale green and soft pinks matched so well, who would have thought? It was fun to play with all the embellies and my new favorite thing... Gold Glitter Paste and Stickable Stencils. When I'm done I'm am covered in sparkles, lol. The photos I chose were ones I just had to scrap. Nicole bought us all Onesies for Christmas, so we had Scobby Doo, a Cheetah, a Zebra and not one but two batmans! We had so much fun taking goofy photos! I can't wait to see what happens this year, lol.

Have an awesome day everyone! Until next time.....

Another Awkward Family Photo

Good Morning!! Today I'm sharing my layout for the new inspiration photo at Scrapstuffz ( you will find it below). When I saw all the bright colors and the heart I was automatically thinking, pick the earthy colors. But.. I had to jump out of the box a little, lol. All my layouts have a story and this one is no different. When I went to print this photo it first printed in black and white. Printed it again, this time in color. Did I want to scrap the photo twice? Hmmm.. then it occurred to me to use both photos together in one layout. Now the colors.. I had this BoBunny collection in my stash and it had the funniest sayings in it, so I then thought..why not do my Christmas photos with this fun family line! The story of the photo.. Nicole bought us all Onesies for Christmas so we just couldn't help taking a few family selfies in the mirror. We are truly a family that likes to have fun! Have a wonderful day and hope you can stop by and play along with us!

Santa Paws

Morning Scrappy Friends!! After a trip to the scrap store with Sis I came home with a few new goodies! One is this collection from Fancy Pants called Timbergrove. I loved the blues, browns and creams in the collection. And of course I had a photo of Jax laying around..surprised aren't you? lol. I thought he just fit right into this paper! It was a quick and easy layout to do because the background was already scrap ready! A few stickers, a couple of tags and some ink.. and I was all done!! The hard part was coming up with a title. I couldn't find one I liked, so I thought I would try my hand at making one! So until next time...

A Christmas Mini - throughout the years

Morning Scrappy Friends!!! Today I wanted to share a mini album I made this past weekend. I started an album a few years ago scrapbooking our annual family Christmas photo. My album stopped in 2007!! A little behind you say? Just a little. I could never find the right mini or the right collection until I saw this collection from BoBunny. All the elements were just my style..vintage with a little bit of shabby! I added some elements from last years BoBunny Christmas collection as well. Good thing I hoard my supplies right? You never know when you might need something, lol.  I was so proud of myself, I even have the blank pages scrapped and ready just too add the photo until 2015! I dug out the first album to have a peek and it was so fun to see our family photos way back from 1988 when Nicole was born. Maybe one day I will share that one too just for fun! Hope your all having a wonderful day!

2007.. Love that my Tessa is in the photo with us.
2008  Can't believe how much the boys have grown.
2009  Most of Hubby's family! It's a miracle to get everyone together during the holidays.
2010 Back under the tree with the Santa hats!
2011  Same Tree Same Hats, lol
2012 .. Moved the tree, but yeah, still the same hats!

Bo Bunny - The 12 Days of Christmas

Morning Everyone!!! How was Christmas? Was Santa good to you??? I know I'm stuffed and have enjoyed the holidays with my family. Today at Bo Bunny our assignment was called "Pinspiration". Now, you know I am on Pinterest here and there (ok, I'm ALWAYS on Pinterest), so it was easy to find some holidays inspiration. I chose this photo because I loved the greens and reds with that pop of white! I tried to incorporate that into my layout with the white stitching and white doily. I was excited to use the Rejoice Collection. The vintage colors and elements were just calling my name. This is a photo of my family ( see the kids trying to look all innocent and sweet?). It's our holiday tradition to put on those Santa Hats and take some fun photos under the tree!! I hope you all had a blessed Christmas and here's to a Joyous New Year!

Santa's List - Let's Get Sketchy

Ho Ho Ho!!! Is everyone ready for Christmas? Gifts all bought and wrapped? I know you must have some free time then to play along with us at Let's Get Sketchy, lol. This was a fun sketch to work with. I grabbed my photo box and the first thing I pulled out where these studio photos of Ryan back from 2005. I took him for his school pictures and when he saw the Snowman backdrop, he just had to have the photo taken. I thought it was so darn adorable! Wish I could convince him to do it again now that he's 20! So Merry Christmas friends and family!!! Have a very Happy Holiday Season!

Happy Everything

Happy Tuesday Everyone! How's everyone's day? I took a break from my usual design work when I saw this sketch on the Scrapbook And Cards Today blog. How cute is this sketch? I wanted to use some of my Bo Bunny Mistletoe collection and I thought this would be the perfect sketch. I tend to use more earthy tones for my layouts, but these photos just called for cute and fun! This is Ashley posing with Daisy & Jax after we decorated the tree. Nicole keeps saying he looks like the dog from the movie "The Grinch"..really? lol.

Baby It's Cold Outside - Let's Get Sketchy

Happy December!!  I can't believe it's less than a month to Christmas. I guess I should start getting ready, lol. This is our new sketch reveal this week at Let's Get Sketchy. This is my adopted niece Kinslee. Her mom and I have been friends for a long time and little Kins always calls me Aunty! So Aunty I am. This is her photo from last Christmas, and I've had it on my desk now for almost a year, waiting for the right layout, and here it is. Love these papers from Authentique, I can't get enough of the textures and colors from this collection. I did a little modeling paste and stencilling around the edges, then added some chalking. Thought it just needed a little something, somethin!. Hope you can join us and play along!

Tangled & Zoo Lights

Hi Girls!! In between taking care of Christopher who is doing much better these days and working on a contract deal, I managed to stop into Urban Scrapbook to pick up my new supplies for my new projects. These both are for the stores display. It's fun to always get to work with new collections and embellishments. This one is ME, lol. We always have so much fun decorating for Christmas. Chris and Ryan always put up the tree and Nicole organizes the lights. Mom's job is too decorate the tree because it takes me forever to sit and look at each ornament. The kids get bored by the time I'm done, lol. On a side note I wanted to mention Urban Scrapbook's blog. Every day Pat puts up a new idea she has found by one of the designers or something she's found fun on another blog. Lots of great ideas each and every day!
This one is using the new Authentique " Lovely" collection. Ohhh I'm in love with this line. This is a photo of Chris and Nicole earlier this year at Zoo Lights in Calgary. I was in awe of the whole zoo lit up for the Christmas Season. I'm definitely making a trip back there this year to see it again. Now I'm off to play my game of the "Four Bears". That's hubby, myself, Jax & Daisy, lol.  Since Chris has been staying with us, he is using our bedroom since it's easier to get around and the puppies can't get to him, lol. We have tried sleeping in the living room on the pull out couch (too soft), next we tried foam mattress'es on the den floor ( too hard), we then moved on to Ryan's room where the bed was (just right). Tonight..who knows where we will end up! Have an awesome day everyone and enjoy your weekend!
