My Scrappy Space

Morning Everyone!!! The other night I spent hours cleaning and organizing my studio. It all began when I decided to organize my new craft caddy and got on a roll, lol. So, after all that cleaning and organizing I thought I would share some photos with you. And.. I even took my camera and tried to make a little video ( excuse the sniffling, I have a cold coming on). Hope your all having a wonderful day!
Welcome to My Studio!!!

 The Puppy Couch!
My art station ( the old entertainment centre) This is so handy. I made the boys put in the shelves for me. I still think they miss their big t.v. up here!!!
This is where I work ( well sit on facebook)
My nice clean desk, lol
My Costco storage units.. love these!

I did have my art table attached to my desk, but this is why I don't have a table in the middle of the room anymore, lol
We need to room to romp and play!
( Poor pups just had Spring hair cuts so to me they look funny, I miss all the curls)

Doesn't look so organized from here, lol

The Video Tour ( I know you want to see this, lol)

Thanks so much for stopping by. I love reading your comments and I appreciate your scrappy support! Have a wonderfully happy scrappy day! Lynn

Chris Kringle

This is a layout of my sweet son-in-law Christopher who was so excited to have his photo taken under the tree, almost knocked the tree over. He grabbed it just as I took the photo, lol. Talk about a photo moment! We still laugh about it. I'm so glad I captured that on film. I found a challenge at Basic Grey and the sketch came from the The ScrapRoom. The hidden journaling talks about this photo moment with Chris Kringle!

Supplies: Basic Grey Figgy Pudding Glee, Balsam, Basic Grey Blitzen Jingle Bells, Fresh Snow. Basic Grey Figgy Holiday Stickers and Ornament StickersTatter Angels Glimmer Mist Abominable Snowman, Perfect Pearls Mist Sour Apple, Prima Flowers, Slice Machine and Martha Stewart Punch.

My Son

I was so excited to use my new Basic Grey on this layout! When I saw the sketch at sketches in thyme, I knew I had to try it. I loved the little circles in the sketch, but decided to make mine big! After starting the sketch I saw a challenge at the scraproom, which called for a two word title and one photo. Well...I couldn't resist doing the two challenges in one! I call these a "double header". Challenges are so much fun. They help me step "out of the box" and try new things. This layout is just about Ry and I hanging out and sharing a hug. I love my boy!!

Happy Me

I have been wanting to start on a "book of me" for quite awhile now. I have been collecting things to go into the album for a few years. The word circles are old Wild Asparagus and the paper is Basic Grey. When I found this challenge at the scrap room, to scraplift something from their November gallery,  I thought what a perfect time to start! The word circles are what inspired me to scraplift Melanie Calls layout. I find it hard to do layouts of myself. I either hate the photo or can't find any, lol. I guess I just have to try harder to be in photos ( not being the one behind the camera) and just learning to love myself.

This Old House

On one of our weekends at the cabin we took a drive so I could take pictures of old houses! I'm in love with old homes. These homes hold so much history. Who lived there? What was their life like? It's so fun to imagine what memories these homes hold. This layout was for a challenge on the scraproom blog.  We had to scraplift a layout from the gallery. I chose a beautiful layout by Jennifer Moore. So thank you Jennifer!

ScrapRoom Challenge #40

Ryan and Shelby went to the park one night with the camera in hand to take some fall pictures. They took some awesome photos and I was pretty excited to start scrapping them. Of course I pulled out my favourite line of Basic Grey and got to work. I used a challenge on the Scrap Room blog which I loved. You had to use pot dots on your layout...so away I went. I think I used pop dots on everything, even the photos lol. Fall is my favourite time of year so I can't wait to start the next layout.

ScrapRoom Challenge #39

I've had this tiger photo on my desk for awhile. I found a great challenge site called The Scraproom which hosts weekly challenges. This was my first entry...something scalloped. It was fun to do, cause you all know I love Bo Bunny!
On a side note...I'm off to buy a new camera today, I'm so excited because it's an anniversary present from my husband and we are going away for a little holiday to celebrate. I'm so excited to take my new camera and see how many photos I can bring home lol. Life is good!
