Wild Child - Boys Rule And A FREE Cut File

Howdy Scrappy Friends!!! I'm up today at Boys Rule sharing my latest layout using the May/June kit. I usually tend to use muted background for my layouts, but I was loving this circle striped background. I didn't really have a design in mind until I started looking through my cameo files. I came across this circle design I created and then the layout began to take shape. It was pretty fun decorating all those circles I must admit. I hope you enjoy the cut file..if you do please help me get the word out, pin it, share it... I would really appreciate it!! I have more files coming!!

It's Fun Being A Kid - Boys Rule

Morning Scrappy Friends! I'm so excited today!! My very first sketch design is up at Boys Rule. Laura encouraged me to give it a try and this was my first attempt. I'm so excited they decided to use it. I had these photos of Noah that I wanted to scrap sitting on my fridge. I keep taking photos off the fridge, and now it's looking pretty bare! So note to my family....... Aunty needs more photos!!! I used the patterned papers from Authentique that were in the March/April kit and I really like how they match Noah's shirt. I hope that you can stop by and play along with us, I would love to see what you create using the sketch!! Have an awesome day everyone!

Boys Will Be Boys - Boys Rule

Good Morning Scrappy Friends. Is everyone ready for the holidays? Today I'm sharing a layout using the Rough & Tumble collection in the kit from Boys Rule . This was so much fun. I wanted to use all the stickers and patterned paper so what better way than to add layers! It's always fun to see where you can stick that one extra sticker. Along with a few of the Tim Holtz rub ons, and a little stamping, the layout came together quite quickly. I just want to take a moment to thank Laura and Laura-Lee for having me as a guest design these past two months. It's been such a fabulous experience. If you have boys, check out their kits..amazing!! Have a wonderful Holiday Season Everyone!

Smiles Are Free

Happy Monday my friends!! My project today features my little Great Nephew Noah who will be 4 years old in November. He is the sweetest little boy that always makes me laugh. For this layout,  I got to work with this amazing sketch from Tabitha at Let's Get Sketchy. I loved the strips in this sketch and decided to combine some patterned paper and washi tape. I'm really starting to like washi tape, lol.. I had it sitting around in a basket forever, just collecting dust until one day... out it came and now it's a fun thing to add to any project. I even took out the modeling paste and did a little altering to the background. I'm starting to slow down and take my time, but that means more time to think about just that "one more little thing" you want to add, lol.  Someone needs to yell STOP every once in awhile. That's the fun though, just starting with a blank sheet of paper and never knowing what it will turn out like in the end. Happy Scrapping everyone, have an awesome day!

Cool Smile Kid - Boys Rule Kit Club

Morning Scrappy Friends! I'm so honoured today to share with you my first layout for my Guest Design spot with Boys Rule Scrapbook Kits . I will tell you this kit was AMAZING! When I saw this paper from Pink Paislee in the kit I knew I just had to play with it. The circles were just calling to be decorated! In the kit were so many fun embellishments to help me out. I dug right into the Pink Paislee Ephemera package and the Tim Holtz rub ons. I snuck one of the Pebbles Dimensional stickers on my layout too. Couldn't pass them up. I added a little doodling around some of the circles and this layout came together quite quickly. This was such a fun layout to do. Now I can't wait to start on my next project!!

Patterned Paper: Red Rover, Marco Polo/ Pink Paislee Hey Kid Collection
Ephemera: Pink Paislee Hey Kid
Dimensional Stickers: Pebbles
Photo Frames: Basic Grey
