Morning Scrappy Friends! Today I'm up on the Scrapstuffz blog. When I first saw the inspiration photo I knew right away what I wanted to do. This photo reminded me of the hummingbirds that visit us each summer at the lake house. I searched for a photo of them and couldn't find one.. so... I decided to use the inspiration photo for my layout!! I just love the blue bottle and those cute little birds. I pulled out the Anthem collection from BoBunny, some Washi tape and stamps and just let this layout come together. I even dug out some old old saying stickers that I found and used those instead of a title. I hope you can stop by and play along with us! I would love to see what inspires you from the photo.

Summer Is Time For - Scrapstuffz

Morning!!! Today I'm sharing a layout at Scrapstuffz. When I saw the inspiration photo I had a thought of what I wanted to do. It was either going to be a great idea or a total flop.. you don't know until you try right? First I thought of printing the words around my page, then I thought I would make journaling strips. Then a thought came to me to turn the photo into black and white and print it onto my background paper. I hit print and crossed my fingers, lol. I thought color and fun, and it turned out grungy, but it was still fun to do! I know Nicole is going to love that I scrapped this photo..I can hear the phone ringing already.. "MOM.. why that photo?".. just because Nicole..just because, lol.

Life Captured - Scrapstuffz

Morning Everyone! Today I'm up at Scrapstuffz with my Inspiration layout. What do you see when you see the inspiration photo? I immediately see color, and then my mind starts thing about what collection would work, lol. When I saw this photo, I saw pink and butterflies... and in my mind that equalled the new Primrose collection from BoBunny. I've been waiting for the right moment to dig into this collection and today was the day!! Along with a photo of Nicole on her wedding day, it came together quite nicely I thought. I even added a few chipboard pieces I got from Creative Embellishments which I left brown to compliment the browns in the patterned paper. Sugar And Spice - Scrapstuffz

 Good Morning! How's your day? Today I'm sharing a layout I did for Scrapstuffz. For this month we not only had a inspiration photo, we had a sketch to work with designed by my sweet friend Laura. When I saw the photo I knew that I wanted to do something Springy with some pastel colours. I hadn't had a chance to work with the new BoBunny Baby Bump collection, so this was a fine opportunity! I've had this photo of my great niece Isla on the fridge for months now and wanted to scrap her first year photo for a long time. When I saw the sketch with the big circle I immediately thought.. DOILY!!! And the plan came together. I hope you can come play along with us this month!

Another Awkward Family Photo

Good Morning!! Today I'm sharing my layout for the new inspiration photo at Scrapstuffz ( you will find it below). When I saw all the bright colors and the heart I was automatically thinking, pick the earthy colors. But.. I had to jump out of the box a little, lol. All my layouts have a story and this one is no different. When I went to print this photo it first printed in black and white. Printed it again,this time in color. Did I want to scrap the photo twice? Hmmm.. then it occurred to me to use both photos together in one layout. Now the colors.. I had this BoBunny collection in my stash and it had the funniest sayings in it, so I then thought..why not do my Christmas photos with this fun family line! The story of the photo.. Nicole bought us all Onesies for Christmas so we just couldn't help taking a few family selfies in the mirror. We are truly a family that likes to have fun! C'est La Vie - Scrapstuffz

 Good Morning! Today is my day to share my layout for the inspiration photo at Scrapstuffz. When I saw this photo the first thing I saw was the bright colours. If you know me, most of my projects are earthy colours, so I wasn't sure what to do. Then I thought of the C'est La Vie collection from BoBunny and my mind got thinking. What about some pink and yellow paint? A little modeling paste? Punched border maybe? Ohhh the cameo..bet I could find a few cuts there. And before I knew it, my project was done!
