Souvenir Mini Album - BoBunny

Souvenir Mini Album by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny

Good Morning Everyone! I am pretty excited to share my Souvenir Mini Album I made today with you. I made this for a social media project for BoBunny and you can find the project on Facebook as well. Nicole and Chris are heading out for a little holiday in November, so I got to thinking that they sure  needed a mini to document their trip! Nicole tells me she has a whole table of mini albums already, but she could always use more, lol.. ( that's my girl). So I got out the Souvenir Mini Album from BoBunny , the 6x6 paper pad, stamps, ink, glitter paste and some noteworthy and set out on my mini adventure, lol. Here are the rest of the pages just waiting for those holiday photos.

On the last page I made a little flip book so they can put some smaller photos in it.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I love reading your comments and I appreciate your scrappy support! Have a wonderfully happy scrappy day! Lynn

Gas & Oil - BoBunny

Good Morning!!! Today I'm sharing a layout I did for BoBunny. Hubby has been bugging me and bugging me that I never do layouts of him, so this one is for Hubs!! I chose the Wildcard collection for this project, I loved the papers and thought this background was perfect for a touch of mixed media. I just had to play with the new stickable stencils and glitter paste so that was my mission for this layout. Then some stamping with the new BoBunny Ink pad and stamps. Lots of fun for the afternoon!!

Smile For The Camera - 17 Turtles

Good Morning! Last week I was so honored to be a guest designer for Juliana Michaels at 17 Turtles . I got to play with some awesome cut files from her Etsy Shop.

My daughter, her husband and their puppy Jackson love taking selfies, just as much as I love scrapbooking them! I just couldn't resist playing with the Smile For The Camera cut file and mixing it with the Puppy Love file. It was hard enough to pick the digital cut files, I wanted to play with them all!!! This was such a fun layout to do, I chose several of the files and got to work!
I took the frame with the dog paws on it and altered it slightly. I used the frame for my photo and I fussy cut the paw print out and used it on the side of my layout.
I chose several sheets of cardstock to cut out the files. I first cut the title Puppy Love in light green, then thought "hmm a little to light", so I cut them out of blue. So I used the negative space which was the letters L O V E and popped them into the blue title. It's so much fun to cut the files and then tuck them here and there!
And again, I cut the cameras out of light green first, then changed to blue.  Well, we can't let those green ones go to waste so I decided to make little borders at the top and bottom of the layout and tuck the green ones in there. Remember it's never a mistake, it's a chance to get creative! I was happy, it gave me more cut files to play with!! A big thank you to Juliana for letting me visit today!!

Wedding Misc. Me - BoBunny

Good Morning!! Today I'm sharing a project I did for the BoBunny blog featuring the new Madeleine collection and the Misc. Me Journal Contents. I loved the soft colours and the elegant look of the paper collection, so the first thing that came to my mind was Nicole's wedding photos. I wanted them to stand out on the page but since her wedding colours had purples, I turned the photos black and white. I really liked the look it gave the pages. I don't do a weekly or monthly spread in my Misc. Me binder, I do random pages, things I want to remember, no specific day, month or even year. It's about the memories for me. I also got to play with all the new BoBunny mixed media goodies like the Stickable Stencils, Pearlescents and Ink Pads... ohhh don't forget the new Glitter Paste.. oh my it's my new favourite thing!!! Hope you all have a fabulous day and see you again real soon!!!!

Good Morning and Happy Monday!! Today I'm so thrilled that I'm a guest designer at 17 Turtles, Juliana Michaels is such a talented designer in the papercrafting world and she also has an Etsy Shop called  17 Turtles Etsy Shop where she designs cut files. I hope you can pop over to the blog and check out the layout I did using these same files! Have an awesome day everyone!

Happy Birthday - BoBunny

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing a few cards that I made featuring the new Madeleine collection from BoBunny. I started with the Double Dot cardstock as a base and then some spraying with the new Glimmer Sprays. I love that the cardstock is a heavy weight, so it stands up to all that spraying and mixed media goodness! For my first card I decided on a more feminine feel, soft and pretty. Some paper strips, flowers, doilies and some stamping.

For the second card I went more with a mixed media feel. I cut out the squares from one of the sheets in the 6x6 paper pad, then inked around them with the Tuto Glimmer spray. Then of course some stamping and some strips of washi tape. Two different cards for sure, lol

Flash Card Fun - Boys Rule

Good Morning!!  I'm excited to share my latest project today that I did using my latest Boys Rule kit! Do you have little ones just starting pre-school? Maybe you home school? Well I had so many embellishments left in my kit that I decided to make some flash cards! This was such a fun project!

For the cards I took all my leftover patterned paper and cut out 26 cards. For the fronts I used the BoBunny Alphabet Stickers on the Combo Sheet and then the fun began! I took out all my embellies from this kit and from past kits and started gluing, sticking and just having fun. This sure helped me deplete my stash!

For the backs of the cards I took stickers that had words on them and stuck them to the back of the card. I figured, why waste paper, I just had to stick something on the back! Now I just have to find an Octopus and Xylophone sticker and I will be set! Maybe Laura-Lee could include those in the next kit? LOL.

Boys Are The Best - Boys Rule

Good Morning and Happy October!! Did I just say October?? Where did summer go?? I'm not ready for fall yet!! But since it is Oct 1st, that means I have a new sketch up over at Boys Rule and my take on it. Gosh, how long has it been since Ryan has been on a bike. Ohhh I miss those simple days of young children! For this project, I combined a bunch of the different patterned papers for the banners, and then just grabbed some of the embellies from the kit to complete the layout. Easy peasy this one was!! The most fun I had was using the backside of the paperstrip for my top banner.. I thought the saying "Boy Oh Boy" was so cute!! I hope you can come join me over at Boys Rule, I would love to see what you create with the sketch. Until next time....
