Imagine - BoBunny

 Good Morning! Today on the BoBunny facebook page I am sharing a layout I did featuring the new Beautiful Dreamer Collections. The hardest part was trying to pick which 12x12 sheet of patterned paper I wanted to use. They seriously are all so beautiful! When I saw this one I immediately saw the photo of Ryan in it, so away I went. We had a family photo shoot and he was busy capturing the in between moments. I used the word "Imagine" because Ryan is very "out of the box". His saying the other day made me smile "I am so out of the box I'm a circle". That's my boy! I had such fun playing with all the chipboard elements and stickers for this layout. I wanted to frame the photo with things that remind me of Ryan. For me this is a really special layout. Bible Journaling Pages

 Good Morning! It's Sunday and I thought I would catch up on sharing some Bible Journaling Pages I did while out at the cabin. I love the solitude there. It's the perfect place to read and reflect on God's Word. To bring the pages to life with a drawing is a feeling I can't even describe. For me, reading His word is so calming, but then to focus, reflect and draw what comes from your heart is another feeling all together. I looked the other day an I have over 100 pages documented in my bible. Let's say it's getting a little thick, lol. I have the Tyndale Inspire Bible on pre-order from Amazon and am anxiously awaiting it's arrival! A new bible to create in, I can't wait! If you haven't seen it, please check it out!  This page was very special. I was talking to hubby about seeking the Lord and he says "what about a magnifying glass and a Sherlock Hat?".. Brilliant don't you think? So thank you hubby for your support and input!

Devotional Art Cards - Leviticus and Numbers

Good Morning! I am learning so much and discovering and uncovering some things about myself through this devotional. I love taking the time out each day to read and reflect. Today was a confusing day, lol.. I had Instagram and my blog posting two different things, so to set things straight again, I'm sharing some devotional cards from Leviticus( which were posted to Instagram already) and some new cards from the book of Numbers. Whew... I think I'm all straightened out now, lol... can you say "too much social media to keep straight?"..

Thankfully I have a few of the 6x6 paper pads from BoBunny to cut out little hearts, flowers, circles and big embellies! I'm starting to have quite the collection on my desk.

Toy Box Fun - BoBunny

Whimsy Devotional Art Cards

 Morning Everyone and once again HAPPY MONDAY!!! Who loves Mondays? Not sure, but someone out there has too. Today I have a few more of my devotional art cards to share with you. These are from the book of Exodus. I'm having alot of fun making these cards. Punches and stamps are coming out of my stash once again. I call these whimsical but I'm not sure why, lol... It's my take on "cute". If you know me, I can live in Fall. Warm rich colors. I was once termed "Earthy Organic", and yup, they were right! I am trying to do cute and fun, but it's still leaning towards my shabby style.. that's just me, and that's ok!

 I try to keep the fronts and backs with the same theme. I also am trying for a general theme for the year, which will be the office stamps and the days of the week.

 I have been asked by several people to do a tutorial on these, and I will while I'm working on my next set. So until next time..... have a blessed day!

Documented Faith - Weeks 4, 5 & 6

 Good Morning! Today I'm catching up on my Documented Faith Journal. We have been back and forth out to the cabin, so I was getting behind on my weekly prompts. So while I'm working on Week 7, I thought I would share what I've been doing with you. This one is Week 6. I am loving doing this method of documenting. I get to art journal and journal my faith. Win, win!

 This is Week 4. I made some tags and thought they would be a fun addition to the page.

 Week 5 I put last because it's my least favourite to be honest. Something wasn't working, and I wasn't sure how to fix it, so for now it will stay like this. Some pages are just like that, and I'm trying to just let it go and move on. Do you have pages like that?

Whimsy Bible Art Cards

 Good Morning and Happy Monday! ( Who EVER says Happy Monday? lol).. Today I'm sharing some art cards I'm working on and how this all came to be. So let's get started!!

This month in our One Little Word class, we are doing a daily practice. I wanted to find something I can continue with for the whole year!

I am doing a daily bible study from the Women's Devotional Bible, which I am absolutely loving. I am finding I  like to read and answer questions. So far, so good! My one problem is that I have a hard time writing. I have Essential Tremor which means my hands shake ALOT some days. So most of my documenting is done via computer. Now.. how to document my devotions, since I can't just write in a journal...hmmm Daytimer? Art Journal? Midori? I started playing with them all. ( I actually even made my own fauxdori), and searched Instagram! Nothing seemed to be just right. Then I packed up, went to my sisters and between the two of us we came with the idea of art cards. Something fun to create, I can do wiggly lines, and it sounded like the perfect solution.

 The devotional has 3 questions a day, so I am answering one this year, and next year will pick a different one.Each book of the Bible will have the same themed cards, which makes them easier to decorate. These cards are all from the Book of Genesis, so a flower themed came to be.

 The back of the cards also have their own theme, faith stamps from BoBunny and circle borders.

Much thanks goes to Patter Cross for the inspiration on how to start making art cards. She is one talented lady! Also, some books of the bible have only one or two devotionals, so I will be sharing them on my Instagram page  and   Pinterest.  I would love for you to join me there.

One Little Word - February

 It's February and that means a new prompt at Ali Edwards One Little Word Class. 

I say it over and over again but this is one of the best classes I have ever taken and it's only month 2!

When I started I thought, ok, let's give it a try, not expecting any big miracles. Well, let me tell ya, I'm already blown away. Last month I tried putting my word into practice, and it started to make a difference in my day. This month we are trying to achieve something for the month. I chose exercise, because honestly it's been lacking these past few months! Ok, so how is my word "Balance" going to help here, I couldn't see it.. Well, I'm into the month and again am blown away. Just making the commitment to walk on my treadmill everyday has brought balance to my life. I am taking time for me! Balance is slowly being restored! I feel better, I feel more centered, I'm finding ME again!

 Each month I don't have anything in mind for my binder, I'm just "goin' with the flow" so to speak. This month it was using up some of my BoBunny stash from last year which is Valentine themed, yet fun to use in my binder. And the big red stickers?? Gosh, how old are those?

 See the bike?? I picked it as my "symbol" for the year. Riding a bike = balance! And I happen to have a few (cough) bicycle stamps that are coming in quite handy!

 I purposely left the last page undone so I can come back and do a reflection on how the month went.

Calendar Girl Meets Secret Garden - BoBunny

 Good Morning and Happy Tuesday! Today I would like to share my Calendar Girl Planner from BoBunny that I am using for a bible study from Her Binder Project.  
I use the planner contents sheets and then each month choose a different collection to use along with it. This month I chose Secret Garden. Soft purples and greens, soothing pinks, it's such a lovely collection. 

 BoBunny has new Foil Vellum Sheets which are awesome for adding tip ins to your planners, bibles, whatever you please. Here I used one as a tip in, in the planner.

 For a little extra something something I used the new Amen Stamp Set and the Flower Power Stickable Stencil. I love to add little details!

Bible Journaling with BoBunny

 Hi Everyone! Today over on the BoBunny Facebook Page I am over the moon excited to share this Bible Page with you all. I have been waiting for this Faith Collection "Believe" for a few months now and it's here and I just can't stop playing with it! I have used it on some of my Misc. Me pages, but I really wanted to put it in my Bible. All of the elements you see are from the Noteworthy Package. Easy Peasy! It's like it's already done for you! The only thing extra I did was color the heart with some sharpies, watercolor the background and glue everything down! Oh my gosh, did I mention how excited I am, lol... I'm off to do another project so...until next time!
