Happy February Everyone! Today is reveal day at Unique Crafters. Our challenge this month is lace and fabric. I was excited about this project because Katie at Unique said I could do an art journal page for my project. It was fun to use the lace and fabric along with all my fun stamps and paint. That's the fun part of Unique..any project is eligible. Hope you have some fabric and lace in your stash so you can come play along! This will be my last project with the design team at Unique, so I'd like to take the opportunity to thank Katie the team at Unique for the amazing opportunity.

You Make the World Go Round

November already??? Where did October go? This month at Unique Crafters our challenge theme is "Little Girls". Well, I have a big girl, but she was little once, lol. I love this photo of Nicole in our old backyard. We played back there everyday. Brings back such memories. I had a little bit of the Bo Bunny Little Miss collection to play with , and I'm trying to use up those supplies, right girls??  This was a fun one to do. I was excited to bring out the flowers and the glue gun and do a girly layout. Hope your all having a glorious day! Come by and play along with us this month for some fabulous goodies!

Trick or Treat

Happy Fall!!! I can't believe it's October 1st already...where did summer go? I do love fall..the crisp mornings, the bright sun and the falling leaves. It's my favorite time of year! Our challenge this month at Unique Crafters is Halloween!!! I just know you girls have some Halloween papers hanging around your studios, lol. A card, a layout, a home decor project..anything you feel like creating! For this one I used some of my Authentique that I had bought and did a card! I'm trying to build my card 'stash'. When Pigs Fly

Howdy Scrappy Friends!  For the month of September at Unique Crafters our challenge is "Anything Goes". That's right...anything! How easy is this challenge? I'm very excited to join the team for another term. I decided to play with my G45 paper I just bought. It's not a line I normally choose, but it had PIGS on it! If you know me, you know my addiction to pigs. Fuzzy Pigs, Ceramic Pigs, Pig Slippers, Pig Mittens..the list goes on! So when I saw this paper...well I couldn't resist.  I just smiled the whole time I was working on this one! I'm also entering this in a challenge over at Artful Delight.

Unique Crafters - Glitter & Shine

Wow..August already? Well that means another challenge begins today at Unique Crafters. Our theme this month is "Glitter & Shine". So get out the stickles, the glitter, the gems and any other sparkly products hiding in your scraprooms!! I was excited because I got to use my Thickers and glitter for this card. I even took the stickles and glittered up my flower and the border. I usually don't use alot of glitter on my projects, so this took me out of my box! I used my MME 6x6 paper pack, which was perfect for a card. So many uses for those little paper packs. So I hope your all having a great day and hope you can stop by and play along!

July 4th

For our challenge this month at Unique Crafters our theme is Patriotic projects. Well, I'm Canadian so we celebrate Canada Day July 1st. But.... Ryan's birthday is July 4th, so I love doing his birthday layouts in Red, White and Blue. My girlfriend in the U.S. had a baby boy on July 1st, and often we would joke that we should switch babies, lol.  So Happy July 4th my friends in the U.S.A and Happy Birthday Ryan!!!

Unique Crafters Challenge # 3 Mud = Bath

At Unique Crafters this month our challenge is Ribbon and Fibers. What better way to dress up a layout of a dirty puppy than to use ribbon right? Makes her look pretty, lol. Oh my Daisy!! She decided to dig a hole big enough for a swimming pool while the snow was melting and came in the house COVERED in mud!! Well...mud equals bath right? She thought the bath tub was the funnest experience EVER!  Gosh I'm having so much fun with her. I used some of the Stella Rose line of paper that Katie at Unique sent me too. Nice bright spring colors! So come on by Unique and join in the fun..I'm sure you all have some extra ribbon around your scrap rooms!! There is a main prize winner and two runners up...so lots of goodies to give away.

Unique Crafters Challenge #2 "Puppy Love"

Our second challenge is up and ready to go!!! This month at Unique Crafters the challenge is paper flowers!! Now who doesn't have a few flowers sitting on their desk? I know I have some, ok...I have tons thanks to Katie at Unique! This was such a fun project to do, since I love flowers. I think they are on every layout I do somewhere. This photo is of Nicole when she met Daisy. I think it was love at first sight. I think they both have a new friend. Little Daisy has so much love to share and so does Nicole.
