Good Morning Scrappy Friends!! How's your day?? Today I have a layout that I'm sharing on the BoBunny's Facebook page. I couldn't resist playing with the new Altitude Collection, the colours are so warm and rich looking, perfect for those winter photos. Back in November, Nicole came home for a visit and brought along her new love, David's tea! I wasn't a huge tea drinker, but oh my goodness, when I tasted all those scrumptious flavours, I was hooked! Now I have my own little collection and my own little teapot.. I am totally in love!

Hello Winter Misc. Me - BoBunny

 Good Morning!! How's everyone's day? Here where I live in Canada it's been a crazy winter so far. One day it's warm and sunny, the next day we are in the deep freeze with snow blowing.. I will take those balmy days anyday!!! Last week I shared my Misc. Me pages on the BoBunny Blog. I got to play with the fun Altitude collection! Oh my, those colours just made me smile. I loved the browns with the blues and purples, such a beautiful combination. We were featuring the film stickers, and I almost used the whole roll, lol. Borders, strips, stickers, if I could stick them somewhere, believe me I did. So fun! This layout is all about a trip we took out to the lake house when we had one of those balmy winter weekends. The only thing we didn't expect was the huge amount of snow out there. Hubby spent almost 3 hours blowing snow so we could reach the cabin! After that is was coffee by the fire for all!!!

Cookie Says Baby It's Cold Outside

Good Morning! Today I'm so excited to be a guest designer at Stuck Sketches. My sweet friend Laura asked, and how could I say no to her? She is amazing and a very talented sketch designer. I had this photo printed out of Nicole with her new winter hat and just had to scrap it. She is the funniest girl. I can just see her walking into her Corporate job wearing this hat and smiling away. A Snowy Day - BoBunny

Good Morning!!! Today I'm sharing a layout I did for my assignment at BoBunny. I loved working with the white and blue color palette from the Woodland Winter collection on this layout. For some added texture I used Glass Bead Texture Gel and a stencil. I used it in random spots on my layout and also on the Blossoms to give everything a snowy effect. Now here is where we insert the funny story. I put on the glass beads, go to bed and let it dry. I wake up in the morning and ALL my glass beads were either pink or orange! WHAT?? How did this happen? Thank goodness for Gesso is all I have to say!! Have you had a scrappy accident? Please share so I don't feel so alone, lol.

Winter Memories

Morning!!! I just wanted to share this layout with you all. It wasn't for a design team or a publication...it was just for fun. I wanted to play with my mixed media goodies and try to put them into a layout.. I even tried some paint splatters ( that one's for you Laurie). The other fun thing I tried for the first time was my new Cameo.. I cut out the title with it.. one big step forward in learning this new machine of mine!!!! So.. Winter Wonderland - Let's Get Sketchy

Morning Friends and Family! Today is Monday, so that means a new sketch up at Let's Get Sketchy designed by our wonderful co-ordinator Brenshevia! I was so anxious to use the Power Mountain collection from Bo Bunny and I thought this was the perfect sketch to use it for. One morning the frost was so heavy on the trees I couldn't help but take some photos. When I see the frost it just makes me love winter! Merry & Bright & A Blog Hop Winner

Happy New Years Everyone!!! Today I'm sharing a layout I did for my local scrapbook store Urban Scrapbook. I started doing projects for the store last February and just recently got added to the "display" team. We all work with the same materials and then they are all displayed together at the front of the store. It's so much fun to see what the other girls did. As most of you know since early December I've been pretty sick, so I hadn't touched a piece of paper or a paint brush in nearly three weeks. This morning I headed into the studio and played around ( since my layout was due today). It was nice to play a little. Hope you all have a blessed New Years filled with joy, love, laughter and scrappy goodness!! I'm so thankful to all of you who follow my blog, who leave such sweet comments and those that have become facebook friends. You fill my days with laughter and smiles!!!

It's A Snow Day

 Hi Everyone!!! How's your afternoon? I've been wanting to play with the "Snow Day" collection from Bo Bunny since it came out. I love the blues and greens, and all the embellies that come with it! Well today was the day. With this awesomely amazing sketch from Becky Fleck at Page Maps and the blizzard we had yesterday, I had just the right combination. Jax & Daisy were the only two that wanted to go outside during a blizzard. They think it's amazing that all those toys that were in the yard yesterday where now buried. Most pictures I was taking had Jax's head buried in a snow bank digging for his bones, lol. I know the photos look fuzzy, but that's how much snow was falling all day! I wasn't thinking blizzard...I was thinking...photo opportunity!! Have a wonderful day my friends!

Peaceful Landscape

Monday, Monday!!! You all know by now what that means, lol. A new sketch reveal up at Let's Get Sketchy. Today's sketch is from our very own Bev, she is so talented. This layout I did using a photo we took on our October trip out to the cabin. Ohhh the weather man was telling us we were going to have a glorious weekend!! Full of sun and warmth. Un huh!!! We arrive at the cabin Friday morning and the snow starts falling. In total we had over 3 inches by the end of the day, lol.  I can't complain because it was so beautiful,and the dogs saw their first snow fall. We had fun romping and playing. It did melt by Sunday, but I wanted to capture our first taste of winter.
