Altered Gift Box - BoBunny

Good Morning and Happy Saturday!!! We are on the countdown to Christmas!! Hope all you shopping is done, the wrapping is finished and you are munching on Christmas cookies and looking at blogs! This is a project I did for BoBunny featuring the new collection Rose Cafe. Such beautiful elements and colors, I couldn't wait to play with this one. I call this one a treasure box, it started off being a gift box, but I put some words that inspired me on it, and thought I would keep this one for myself to put my little goodies in. Well, I'm off.... have a wonderful Holiday Season Everyone and Merry Christmas!

Christmas Collage Misc. Me - BoBunny

Merry and Bright Misc. Me page by Lynn Shokoples featuring the Christmas Collage Collection and Leaky Shed Chipboard
Good Morning Everyone! Today I'm sharing some of my Misc. Me pages I did for BoBunny along with a video tutorial on how I put my pages together. I decided to do a spread on Christmas past, so I picked photos from each of the past few years. It's a great way to remember all the fun times we had each Christmas Morning! Even those pups got into the holiday spirit with reindeer antlers, lol. At BoBunny we had a treat this month. We got some fabulous chipboard pieces from Leaky Shed to play with, so I chose the Christmas Collage collection to use.

Star Crossed Ipad Holder - BoBunny

Good Morning Everyone! As some of you might know I have been on a journey of healthier eating and exercise since October. I can't even explain how much things have changed. I have tons of energy, I feel good and for once I feel I am in control of things in my life again. Let's just say it has been too long since I've felt like that. A few small changes made a huge difference. Now...how this project ties in... I asked hubby if we had something that I could use to hold up my ipad while I walked on my treadmill. He fancies himself McGyver ( for those of you that remember Mr. Handy), so he takes a piece of baseboard and screws my dollar store holder to it... and says.. here ya go!! Hmmmm... very thoughtful, but I just couldn't leave it like that. He had the screwdriver ready, but I yell...WAIT..I'm going to alter it first! He rolls his eyes and walks away, lol... When I showed him the finished project he finally "got it"... Now he is afraid of what I will find next to alter!!!

It's A Onesie Kind of Christmas - BoBunny

Good Morning Everyone!! Last week at BoBunny I shared my Misc. Me pages that I did mixing and matching two of the BoBunny collections. I chose Madeleine and Candy Cane Lane because the colors of the pale green and soft pinks matched so well, who would have thought? It was fun to play with all the embellies and my new favorite thing... Gold Glitter Paste and Stickable Stencils. When I'm done I'm am covered in sparkles, lol. The photos I chose were ones I just had to scrap. Nicole bought us all Onesies for Christmas, so we had Scobby Doo, a Cheetah, a Zebra and not one but two batmans! We had so much fun taking goofy photos! I can't wait to see what happens this year, lol.

Have an awesome day everyone! Until next time.....

Documented - BoBunny

Good Morning Everyone and Happy Wednesday!! A few weeks ago our family took a trip to the park to take some fall photos. We had so much fun! The kids were just too funny climbing trees and throwing leaves around. When I saw the new collection Rose Cafe from BoBunny, I new I just had to start scrapping these photos. Nicole's outfit matched perfectly with the papers, and I didn't even tell her what to wear!! The photo shoot was fun, but I had tons of fun playing with the new stickable stencils, glimmer paste ( my new addiction), film strips and the Pearlescent Pens. All in all it was a win, win, lol!! Hope you all have a fabulous day!

She Believed - Scrapbook Generation

Good Morning! It's such an exciting day!! Scrapbook Generation Magazine asked our BoBunny design team to design projects based on the sketches for the magazine. I was assigned the single page layout and loved the sketch I got to work with. I used the Madeleine collection along with a photo from Nicole's wedding. I thought the sketch was just perfect for the Misc.Me Journal Content 3x4 cards. The layout came together quite quickly with all the wonderful pieces from the collection. Here is a link to the magazine, hope you enjoy!! Scrapbook Generation Magazine

Souvenir Mini Album - BoBunny

Souvenir Mini Album by Lynn Shokoples for BoBunny

Good Morning Everyone! I am pretty excited to share my Souvenir Mini Album I made today with you. I made this for a social media project for BoBunny and you can find the project on Facebook as well. Nicole and Chris are heading out for a little holiday in November, so I got to thinking that they sure  needed a mini to document their trip! Nicole tells me she has a whole table of mini albums already, but she could always use more, lol.. ( that's my girl). So I got out the Souvenir Mini Album from BoBunny , the 6x6 paper pad, stamps, ink, glitter paste and some noteworthy and set out on my mini adventure, lol. Here are the rest of the pages just waiting for those holiday photos.

On the last page I made a little flip book so they can put some smaller photos in it.

Gas & Oil - BoBunny

Good Morning!!! Today I'm sharing a layout I did for BoBunny. Hubby has been bugging me and bugging me that I never do layouts of him, so this one is for Hubs!! I chose the Wildcard collection for this project, I loved the papers and thought this background was perfect for a touch of mixed media. I just had to play with the new stickable stencils and glitter paste so that was my mission for this layout. Then some stamping with the new BoBunny Ink pad and stamps. Lots of fun for the afternoon!!

Smile For The Camera - 17 Turtles

Good Morning! Last week I was so honored to be a guest designer for Juliana Michaels at 17 Turtles . I got to play with some awesome cut files from her Etsy Shop.

My daughter, her husband and their puppy Jackson love taking selfies, just as much as I love scrapbooking them! I just couldn't resist playing with the Smile For The Camera cut file and mixing it with the Puppy Love file. It was hard enough to pick the digital cut files, I wanted to play with them all!!! This was such a fun layout to do, I chose several of the files and got to work!
I took the frame with the dog paws on it and altered it slightly. I used the frame for my photo and I fussy cut the paw print out and used it on the side of my layout.
I chose several sheets of cardstock to cut out the files. I first cut the title Puppy Love in light green, then thought "hmm a little to light", so I cut them out of blue. So I used the negative space which was the letters L O V E and popped them into the blue title. It's so much fun to cut the files and then tuck them here and there!
And again, I cut the cameras out of light green first, then changed to blue.  Well, we can't let those green ones go to waste so I decided to make little borders at the top and bottom of the layout and tuck the green ones in there. Remember it's never a mistake, it's a chance to get creative! I was happy, it gave me more cut files to play with!! A big thank you to Juliana for letting me visit today!!

Wedding Misc. Me - BoBunny

Good Morning!! Today I'm sharing a project I did for the BoBunny blog featuring the new Madeleine collection and the Misc. Me Journal Contents. I loved the soft colours and the elegant look of the paper collection, so the first thing that came to my mind was Nicole's wedding photos. I wanted them to stand out on the page but since her wedding colours had purples, I turned the photos black and white. I really liked the look it gave the pages. I don't do a weekly or monthly spread in my Misc. Me binder, I do random pages, things I want to remember, no specific day, month or even year. It's about the memories for me. I also got to play with all the new BoBunny mixed media goodies like the Stickable Stencils, Pearlescents and Ink Pads... ohhh don't forget the new Glitter Paste.. oh my it's my new favourite thing!!! Hope you all have a fabulous day and see you again real soon!!!!

I hope you can pop over to the blog and check out the layout I did using these same files! Have an awesome day everyone!

Happy Birthday - BoBunny

Hi Everyone! Today I'm sharing a few cards that I made featuring the new Madeleine collection from BoBunny. I started with the Double Dot cardstock as a base and then some spraying with the new Glimmer Sprays. I love that the cardstock is a heavy weight, so it stands up to all that spraying and mixed media goodness! For my first card I decided on a more feminine feel, soft and pretty. Some paper strips, flowers, doilies and some stamping.

For the second card I went more with a mixed media feel. I cut out the squares from one of the sheets in the 6x6 paper pad, then inked around them with the Tuto Glimmer spray. Then of course some stamping and some strips of washi tape. Two different cards for sure, lol

Flash Card Fun - Boys Rule

Good Morning!!  I'm excited to share my latest project today that I did using my latest Boys Rule kit! Do you have little ones just starting pre-school? Maybe you home school? Well I had so many embellishments left in my kit that I decided to make some flash cards! This was such a fun project!

For the cards I took all my leftover patterned paper and cut out 26 cards. For the fronts I used the BoBunny Alphabet Stickers on the Combo Sheet and then the fun began! I took out all my embellies from this kit and from past kits and started gluing, sticking and just having fun. This sure helped me deplete my stash!

For the backs of the cards I took stickers that had words on them and stuck them to the back of the card. I figured, why waste paper, I just had to stick something on the back! Now I just have to find an Octopus and Xylophone sticker and I will be set! Maybe Laura-Lee could include those in the next kit? LOL.
