Our Little Guy

Morning Everyone! Today I'm sharing another project at Boys Rule using the Sept/Oct kit. I remember always looking for boys themed paper and embellies and had such a hard time finding them. I have no clue where Laura-Lee comes up with her product, but she has hit the jackpot again. The background of this layout is from Echo Park and all the embellies are random bits and pieces from the kit. I used Laura's sketch she did for our Sept. sketch challenge, so if you want to play along you have tons of time!! I've been very busy looking through old photos lately trying to go back and scrap some of Ryan from those early years. Ohhh the memories. This one is from 1992! I'm off to play with my kit, so see you all in a few days!!!

I Can't Stop Smiling

 Morning Morning!!! How's everyone's day? Today I'm sharing my layout for the new sketch over at Let's Get Sketchy. Brenshevia designed this fun sketch and as soon as I saw it I knew which photo I wanted to use. Nicole and Jackson (aka Jiggy) are busy taking more selfies, so we know if you send them, I'm going to scrap them, lol. I did a bunch of stamping on this layout and some doodling around the border. I really enjoy finishing up a layout, doing some stamping, stitching, spraying etc. I love to look for little things to add to my project. And thanks to my Cameo, all those little bits and pieces are easy to add. I'm off to check out what the rest of our team created, so I hope to see some familiar faces playing along with our challenge!!  Also... the Let's Get Sketchy magazine is live!! Beautiful - Let's Get Sketchy

Morning Morning!! Did you have your coffee yet?? Well, it's Monday, and our wonderful Jenessa has done another amazing sketch for us at  Let's Get Sketchy. When I saw the flowers I knew I had to use this one for the photo I have of my great niece Isla. And then when I found the EP papers in my stash, I thought they matched her little outfit so well, this would be a fun project. I did a little fussy cutting of the flowers since there was this whole sheet of flowers in the collection! I hope your all having a scrap fabulous day and can stop by and play along with us!!

Right Here, Right Now. Today

Hi everyone! Hope your all having a fabulous day!!! Today is my last design team reveal for Sketchabilities. I've really enjoyed the two terms I've had with Karan. She is such a talented sketch designer, artist and a beautiful friend. I've had this photo for a long time, and was looking for a time when I was ready to scrap it. I've hidden the journaling on the tag, but it's the story of my Dad and my daughter Nicole. My dad bought us a lake lot and built a cabin from scratch for our family. Every morning he would go out and water the tiny trees that he bought for around the yard. Nicole was always up early so she was thrilled to go out with "Grampy" to help. He was such a wonderful Grandpa. He would always look at me and say "These trees are not for me, I'll be gone long before they are grown, but they will be here for you to enjoy". If we only knew that we would lose my dad shortly after. My dad passed when Nicole was only 8 years old, but she remembers Grampy and the fun they had together. My stories could go on and on, but the tears are flowing so  I will share more of his story through my scrapbooking another time. Here's to beautiful memories and to all of us who have lost a special someone.

Good Morning Everyone! I am so excited to share that today I'm the guest designer at Colorful Creations. The sketch was so much fun to work with. I decided to use the Echo Park "This & That" collection, but with a twist. I've used it for boy layouts, but today, it's all about the girls (well..and baby Jax who is a boy, lol). I just found the colors of the collection went with the photo of Nicole playing with the puppies in the sprinkler on Mother's Day. There is nothing like having two soaken wet goldendoodle puppies jumping on you on a hot day, lol. I hope you can stop by and join in the sketch challenge. Play Hard - Frosted Designs

It's Tuesday, so that means another sketch reveal at Frosted Designs! When I saw this one I knew it would be perfect for a little boy photo. And what's cuter than a little boy and a puppy. Everyone came over for a BBQ on Mother's Day and Noah and the puppies had fun picking up sticks and playing in the water. Such a warm beautiful day to play outside. Whatever Tomorrow Brings

Good Morning everyone! You know why I love Thursday's? It's a new song reveal at Scrap It With A Song. Today the new song is "Drive" by Incubus. I chose to do a photo of Nicole and titled it "Whatever tomorrow brings", a line from the song. Her life changed dramatically, getting married, moving to a new city. I guess you just never know what's around the corner. I love seeing what the Rock Chicks do with the songs, so pop by and play along if you can. For this layout I used the "Hello Summer" line from Echo Park courtesy of my wonderful friends at Urban Scrapbook. I was also peeking around at Two Peas and gained some inspiration from a layout from Nikkiarngwife.   It was fun to do a bright and colourful layout.

Life is Better with Friends

Today our theme at Practical Scrappers is "stitching on your layout". I'm a huge fan of sewing, so this was perfect for me. I'm really trying to use up my stash and with this Echo Park line, I have the whole collection, so it was an easy choice what to use. It's perfect for boy layouts. This is Noah playing with Daisy and Jax on Mothers Day. The puppies just follow him around everywhere. They are quite the little threesome. That's why...Life is Better with Friends, even if they are puppies! I used a sketch from a new site I found called ScrapFriends for some inspiration. Hope everyone is having an awesome scrappy day!

Time of My Life - Scrap It With A Song

This week at Scrap It With A Song the song is "Good Riddance/ Time of Your Life" by Greenday. Well..I'm having the time of my life with my new pups. I've never laughed and smiled so much. The "adventures" they get in to are priceless. This is a photo of myself and Daisy out at the lake on my birthday just hanging out and walking by the lake. I spend so much more time outside now too. We take walks or just sit out on the patio enjoying the sunshine. As the song says " It's something unpredictable, but in the end it's right"...that is my new motto for life! Hope you can stop by and join us this week!
