BoBunny Misc. Me - Jax

Morning Everyone! Today at BoBunny I'm sharing some pages from my Misc. Me binder. I just love working with the 12x12 size. I used the journaling cards from the box set and pieces from the Noteworthy Happy Tails collection. With some stickers the pockets came together quite quickly. For the larger pockets I used my Cameo to make some backgrounds and wanted them to look like mini layouts. I can't believe how much Jax grew in that first year!!! I decided to do random pages in my binder instead of a weekly spread and it seems to work really well so far! Hope your all enjoying your day!!

Santa Paws

Morning Scrappy Friends!! After a trip to the scrap store with Sis I came home with a few new goodies! One is this collection from Fancy Pants called Timbergrove. I loved the blues, browns and creams in the collection. And of course I had a photo of Jax laying around..surprised aren't you? lol. I thought he just fit right into this paper! It was a quick and easy layout to do because the background was already scrap ready! A few stickers, a couple of tags and some ink.. and I was all done!! The hard part was coming up with a title. I couldn't find one I liked, so I thought I would try my hand at making one! So until next time...

Fall Is In The Air

Good Morning and Happy Monday! It's hard to believe the calendar has turned over to a New Year! I'm still playing catch up with some fall photos, lol. This is Jax and I just sharing a little moment on our fall family photo shoot. I had the farmhouse paper left over from my Dec. sketch, so I wanted to use it up and this photo seemed to fit the bill. I even pulled out some stamps and gave the background a little "this and that" lol. This project is for our new sketch up at Let's Get Sketchy. Brenshevia designed this sketch and I was so excited because I got to fire up the Cameo and have some fun!!! Hope you can join us and play along!!

Puppy Love

Good Morning and Happy Wednesday!! Yesterday I took a trip to my local scrap store, Urban Scrapbook. Ohh what a fun trip that was. I came home with lots of new goodies. I bought some Kaisercraft papers and couldn't wait to play. I came home and while searching for some inspiration I came across the  April Saturday Sketch #1 on the Kaisercraft Blog. Perfect!! So here is my take! Now I'm patiently waiting for the new collections to come in so I can play along with the next one! I have a stack of printed photos, and I thought this one of Ashley and Little Baby Jax was just the right photo to scrap. I also bought something fun to alter, but I'm saving that one for another day! Have an awesome Wednesday my friends! Ohh here are a few close ups! ( Almost forgot to add these, lol)

I just had to share this tag I made with my Cameo, I'm having so much fun playing with it!

Perfect Fit

Happy Monday Friends!! Hope all my American Friends had a blessed holiday weekend. I had a little down time this weekend so I thought I would play along with a challenge or two. I've been crazy busy with design assignments, which are fun and challenging in themselves, but sometimes it's just fun to play along at a few of my favorite blogs. This layout first started with a sketch I found at Scrapping Everyday Miracles. It had a twist to have a number on your layout. I do have little numbers on the circles, hope you can see them!  Then I was off to one of my favorite blogs Authentique to see what new inspiration I could find there. Well.. they are having a color challenge! Perfect for the Original collection I've been hanging on to. So combine the two and I had so much fun. I even did some stitching on it, but it's hard to see. You probably all recognize "Big Boy Jax", lol. This layout is all about how he is the "Perfect Fit" for my family and for myself. He is the most loving dog I think I have ever owned. His gentle personality and big brown eyes win me over every time. I still am amazed that he is still a puppy at 75 pounds, lol. As my daughter calls him "Mr. J" has won all of our hearts.

My BIG BOY and my Little Girl

I just had to share some photos, lol. Now this is our family in April 2012...notice the tiny puppy in my arms. This is the day we brought Jax home at 8 weeks old. Little Daisy is cuddling with Nicole and Ashley.
Now...Jump ahead to August...Miss Daisy is growing but still my little girl.
And...at 6 months old...in just 4 months...my little boy has grown into a REALLY BIG BOY! And to think he has 6 more months of growing to do. But..I wouldn't trade them for the world. The are full of cuddles and kisses and make me smile and laugh every day!

Simple Memories

Happy Monday my friends! I love Mondays! Most people love Friday, but Monday's mean a nice quiet house, time to scrap and a time to breathe after a hectic weekend. Today at Let's Get Sketchy we have our new sketch up by the very talented Jenessa Franco. This was a fun one to do. I always seem to have a photo handy of those two cute doodles, and with the Prima Sun Kiss Collection, it all just came together. I hope everyone is having a great sunny day and I hope to see you at Let's Get Sketchy!

The "little things' are not so little after all - Frosted Designs

It's Tuesday..and that means another sketch reveal at Frosted Designs. I took the two page sketch and made it into a single page layout. That's what I love, it's how you interpret the sketch. I usually try to stick pretty close to the original, but this one I wanted to try something a little different. I'm excited to see what everyone does for this one. I just had to scrap the pics of the puppies on Mothers Day playing in the sprinkler. They thought it was the funnest thing ever. We just sat on the deck an laughed. We had two soaking wet Doodles! They would dry off, and just run right back in the water. It was the highlight of my day!

Life is Better with Friends

Today our theme at Practical Scrappers is "stitching on your layout". I'm a huge fan of sewing, so this was perfect for me. I'm really trying to use up my stash and with this Echo Park line, I have the whole collection, so it was an easy choice what to use. It's perfect for boy layouts. This is Noah playing with Daisy and Jax on Mothers Day. The puppies just follow him around everywhere. They are quite the little threesome. That's why...Life is Better with Friends, even if they are puppies! I used a sketch from a new site I found called ScrapFriends for some inspiration. Hope everyone is having an awesome scrappy day!

Woof & Wiggle

Here is our sketch for this week at Frosted Designs. I knew the minute I saw it I wanted to do a layout of the two pups chewing on their bone. They each have their own bones, but nope...they like the chew the same one at the same time. They are just too funny! I hope you can join us this week...come see what our fabulous designers did with this sketch and hopefully you can play along. See you at Frosted Designs!!!

Welcome to Today - Let's Get Sketchy

Here is the new sketch reveal today at Let's Get Sketchy. I'm having so much fun being part of this fabulous design team. We are just a chatty happy bunch of ladies on facebook I tell you. It's great to get to know such a wonderful group. I chose to do a layout of our new puppy Jax on his first day home. Our Daisy was 15 weeks old when we got a call to see if we would take this little guy. When I saw that face, he was mine!!! Daisy just loves her little brother and he is now part of our "furever" family! Combine this awesome sketch with my new goodies from Little Yellow Bicycle...and voila...another puppy layout! I would love to see you stop by and join in the fun with us at Let's Get Sketchy!! See you there...

Daisy's New Brother Jax

Here's the story of Jax!
On Tuesday night my breeder Sonia called and said a family had brought this little male puppy back to them because they just weren't ready for a puppy. They only had him one day!! She knew we eventually wanted to get Daisy a playmate so she asked if I wanted to come see him. We arranged for us to bring him home for the day to see how things went. Well...I saw this little guy, my heart went "thump" and that was it, lol. So now I say we have "Oodles of Doodles". So everyone meet Jax, a nine week old, 15 pound goldendoodle!! ( And a big thanks to my sister Char for the adorable photo of him).
